Your customers’ data: invoices contain personal data of third parties, for example names and addresses of your customers. You are responsible for that data as the invoice issuer. We do not receive it and do not process it on your behalf.
Backup files: when you download a backup or use the automatic folder backup, files are created on your device or in the folder you chose (for example the cloud storage of your provider). You are responsible for protecting them, for example by encryption and access control.
3. Hosting and server log files
Hosting provider: this website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (a company of the Hostinger group). The website files are stored on a Hostinger server in a data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Pages are delivered through Hostinger’s content delivery network (CDN), which answers requests from locations close to the visitor; depending on where you are, your request may therefore be handled by a server outside the EU/EEA and outside the United States.
When you open this website, the hosting provider and its CDN process technically necessary connection data to deliver the pages and to keep them secure: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, and browser and operating system information (server log files). Hostinger does this on our behalf under its terms of service and, where applicable, its data processing addendum; for transfers outside the EU/EEA it relies on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Details are in the Hostinger privacy policy. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). The data is deleted according to the retention periods of the hosting provider. Downloading the single file Invoice-Studio.html and opening files on your device do not cause any server requests.
4. Cookies, browser storage and your choice
This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising, analytics or social media tools. On your first visit the notice “Privacy & local storage” asks for your choice:
- Necessary (always on): the browser storage described in section 2.
- Optional: none at the moment. If optional services are added in the future, they stay off until you agree.
You can choose “Necessary only” or “Accept all”, or decide one by one under “Settings”; both are equally easy. Your choice applies to all pages of this site (tool, guide, privacy policy, legal notice, disclaimer and contact) and is kept in the browser storage for that purpose; a change in one tab is picked up by other open tabs at once. You can change or withdraw it at any time with effect for the future with in the footer of every page. For visitors in the EU/EEA, the legal basis of any future optional function will be your consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; processing before a withdrawal remains lawful.
5. External services
Web version: fonts and program code are delivered by this website itself. No content is loaded from third parties.
Single-file version (Invoice-Studio.html): the single-file version does not contact any server while you work.
6. Contacting us

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the request is related to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in answering requests). The data is deleted once the request is dealt with and no statutory retention duty applies. We do not pass it on to third parties unless required by law or necessary to pursue legal claims.
