Invoice Studio is a tool that helps you create invoices. The checks, texts, guides and calculations are based on generally available information (for example IRS publications and the Federal Acquisition Regulation), but they are not legal, tax or accounting advice. Sales tax rules, late fees, exemptions and record-keeping duties differ by state, locality and industry. The reports are a simplified overview and do not replace bookkeeping. You are responsible for the correctness of your invoices, the choice of the tax rate and exemptions, the details about the work and the customer, and for keeping records on time and properly. An invoice that passes the checks without a message is not guaranteed to be accepted by the customer, a state revenue department or the IRS in every case; ask a tax professional about your situation.
Software provided “as is”
The tool is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or where mandatory law requires liability.
Data loss
All data is stored only locally in your browser. Data can be lost when you clear the browser data, work in a private window, when a device fails or when you switch devices. Make a backup regularly (“Data backup” button in the header, optionally automatically to a folder). Liability for data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Availability
The tool is provided without any claim to continuous availability. Technical changes and interruptions are possible.
